Dope-Seeking Teens Call Cops By Mistake

Austin, Minn. (AP) - Two teens accused of searching for a marijuana dealer dialed the ultimate wrong number -- they called the Mower County Sheriff's cell phone.

Sheriff Terese Amazi's cell phone rang around noon on Friday. The caller said she wanted a bag of marijuana. After Amazi said she was the sheriff, the caller said, "I'm sorry," and hung up.

A few minutes later, the phone rang again. This time, Amazi let a deputy answer.

The caller again asked for a bag of marijuana, and the deputy -- who called himself "Dupe" on the phone -- arranged for a meeting at a convenience store an hour later.

"Apparently, they didn't know the meaning of 'Dupe' as in 'duped' either," Amazi said. "It's incredible."

The girls, ages 15 and 17, were arrested at the scene. Police said they found cash for the marijuana and drug paraphernalia on both girls. One was released to her parent and the other was turned over to a probation officer.

"Not only did they do something wrong, but they should have been in school," Amazi said.

You know they're smart though, calling someone they've clearly never met (if they don't even know their name). And dialing the exact same # again, after being told it was the Sherriff, lol. Silly stoners.
 
Why wouldn't they make sure the person answered was the person INTENDED?
Stupid broads! They got what they deserve!

anyways, i think the Officer's use of lies, deception, and trickery are in many ways more evil and contradictory to the "purpose" of law than the "crime" of purchasing marijuana. What a fucked up set of convictions, no?

And anyways, who the hell calls some random number and says "hey throw me some marijuana..." besides people who dont regularly smoke the herb?
 
The cops were pretty dodgey though, all the girls wanted was some weed to smoke. They weren't dealers all harming anyone else.

They are pretty dumb though the way they went about scoring. I'm sure they wont be telling anyone about what happened.

Stupid girls and what a bastard, deceiving sheriff...I bet he's the local hero now, drinking himself unconscious while bragging of his "clever" maneuver...
 
Thats so funny!!!!! Dumb girls. Hey I don't think the sheriffs fault. He told them the 1st time they called. Then they call the same # back. If your that stupid, you deserve to get busted.

Thats almost as bad <not quite> as something that happened around where I live, I do think it was posted by someone a long time ago. But to make a long story short...

2 guys see a bunch of cars in frount of a house, 1 decides to crash the party. He starts saying how he can get this & that <drugs>. The people at the party say yeah, make your call to set it up. He does. The guy he calls says to him, I can't come into the town your in because Detective so & so has busted me. They agree to meet right outside of town. Guess the out come here....

Ok, the party he crashed was the home of this detective. He crashed a police party, hahahahahhahahahaha. They all got arrested. To dam funny.
