Opioids Dope and KoolAid

Does anyone have any knowledge on what people mean when talking about afghan dope, which I guess doesnt dissolve in water, and mixing it with koolaid to make it more soluble? I know that you can use some type of citric acid to help but KOOLAID? Is it possibly slang Im really stumped on this.
 
Oh dear god please NEVER mix dope with koolaid to inject 8o.

What you do is use either citric acid or ascorbic acid with water and a little heat is sometimes necessary.

It is heroin base and is insoluble in water, you need to convert it to Heroil HCL by adding an acid.

EDIT:

And NEVER use lemon or lime juice as the citric acid, you can buy food grade or most pharmacies in the UK will have little sachets of it. Also never use vinegar.

Unless you want an increased chance of losing an arm ofc. :\
 
Wow injecting with koolaid is probably the dumbest thing next to injecting with puddle water. Don't do it, and just because you had to ask if this is ok, stumps me.
 
Haha yah i am not planning on trying it I was just really curious as to what people ment by it. Someone was talking about the #3 afghan and said

Ive just never heard this before and am just unsure what it means. This question is just out of pure curiosity more than anything else I would never inject something like koolaid gotta be crazy for that one.
 
Please understand that I am not asking this to get help how to do it Ive never even seen dope like that before and have only seen it a few times in general. So please dont ridicule me for asking. Plus if I was planning on doing something insoluble Im sure a quick google search would bring up some credible sources on the safety of making it soluble.
Dont be offended in any way by this but I feel the few times Ive posted on this site people are so quick to judge and act somewhat hostile is it because most people posting are idiots and would try something like this? Im new and not exactly sure why I feel hostility from certain comments.
 
Hey AirNod, no beef man. It probably sounded condescending because alot of people on here DO ask alot of dumb and flat out dangerous questions. I was more concerned with your safety than anything. I don't want to see anyone die, it happens too much over these types of situations, let alone drug overdoses. You did the right thing though by coming on this site and asking. This is what this site is for, harm reduction. Just stay safe and never feel judged because no question is stupid when it comes to someones life.
 
Use ethanol, if you must use another solvent. Just be aware that it WILL burn when injected; and is also a great solvent for heroin, better than water, so use with care.

In the long term, ethanol will probably cause you grief too. But you only need to add a couple dozen to fifty units to forty units of water for good results.

I honestly don't see why heroin wouldn't dissolve in water, bro. It assuredly does. Perhaps these people have poor heroin? Or are heating the spoon and destroying their own dope? I mean, it makes no sense. Do they realize that in Kool-aid, the water is still the solvent? And worse, it's already solute-laden, possessing less available space for new solutes.

Honestly, cold water should be enough for any opiate.
 
I agree, I think ethanol sounds pretty dangerous also. But you never know. It needs looking into before some daredevil tries it and kills themselves.
 
^ Hmm, a quick google didnt show up anything. No one inject ethanol until someone reputable chimes in with some facts =D
 
Lol, of course it's not the safest thing in the old to do, injecting straight alcohol. But at the same time, you can use small amounts of it to enhance the solubility of a solution being prepared for injection. This is not at all as hazardous as you might think, though not without risk, of course.
 
Years ago I injected paragoric which is like 45% alcohol and it burned **really** badly. I'm sure this doesn't help but thought I'd throw it out there.
 
Im not really asking what to use I really was just wondering if anyone else has heard of using koolaid. The question more or less is just regarding the quote I threw in here earlier. I dont think ethanol would be a good choice anyways anything that burns when injected cant be good. But yah if anyone knows what the dude in the quote was talking about Id like to know. Im guessing koolaid is slang for something though.
