Dopamine antagonist effects on Analgesic properties of opiates

Hi all, just wondering does the dopamine in opiates/opioids play a part in their analgesic effects? would seroquel block or dampen the analgesic effects of dihydrocodeine for example, or would it simply affect the euphoric properties of the dopamine release?

is the release of dopamine part of the pain-relieving effects of opiates or are the pain killing effects through an entirely different mechanism
