Don't want to lose any effects of drugs

Hello, My name is Colette, and I'm 55 and a prisoner to my pain
I've been on different meds for the last 8 years. I'm NSAID sensitive so I cannot take them very often.
I would like to know if Tramadol or Methadone take away from the Oxycodone I take (15mg for breakthru pain)
I like to make the most of my meds, why waste them?
I take 20 mg of methadone 2 x day .
I also have Tramadol for the easy days %) .
I have had 4 back surgeries for DDD. I may have to fuse the rest of the spine, but not if I can stop it.
I was an athlete, so this all feels so wrong...whatever, right?
This is me and my struggle in a nutshell.

I don't know exactly what you mean by "taking away" (the question in the 3rd line of your post), do you mean if they can make the effects weaker?
Well I know that methadone in high doses can block other opiates, and I'm pretty sure 20 mg isn't enough for this to happen.
I think those 3 combined should be more effective if anything!

Anyways I suggest you check out the Pain Management Megathread over in Other Drugs, you can read about other's experiences and also ask for help/information if you need it!
I'm sure it will be very useful.
