I take methadone foe a bad back. This last Christmas and new years he wrote me a 90 supply. The supply ended on a sunday I called for refill .Nurse says he can't do that I most see him he has in the past.I as for early appt..Because I am not suppose to see him again till the 15 of this mo.And methadone is hard to just to withdral from.We have been in good standings.Nurse says he just doesn't have time to see me will the remodeling going on .I HAVE NO Idea of whatto do any advice would be helpful Thanks sorry for spelling

So you go to a doctor and not a clinic? And I'm not sure what your question is... Is it that he won't see you right away and your refill is due now so you are going to run out completely?

Im sure if you explain to your doctor's nurse that you're out of medication, he'll fix the situation. if you ran out early, well that's a different story especially with something like methadone

If he wrote you a 90-day supply on December 15, that should last you until March 15. Have you run out early? Either way explain to the nurse you've run out, but you will HAVE TO see him, it's a Schedule II controlled substance.

It doesn't work that way. So many people think if they get a 90-day supply on the 15th of the month, in this case December that the due date will be the 15th of the month in this case March but it isn't so. To get a refill it will be due on the 13th of March, count the days and just don't take it for granted that if it starts on a particular day the refill is due on the same date. Going without a couple of days is a nightmare but I know anyone on opiates knows that. BTW like the OP stated, March 13th is on Sunday

I HAVE NO Idea of whatto do
Get another doctor, they sound like trash. Take your methadone bottle to another doctor and explain it and I'd bet he'd write a script or you. I had a PM doc that taken the place of the normal doctor and I was told by the nurse that he was going to change everybody's meds to methadone, I took my old script and the methadone bottle to a different doctor and the doctor said "what's he doing, is he trying to ween everyone off their pain meds?"

You're missing the point by a mile. OP has already run out. Today is February 9. Whether the intended refill date was March 13 or 15 is beyond irrelevant.
