I was too busy draining from the wrists
To return your desperate calls.
You were the only one that was there for it all.
No secrets, nothing held back.
And now noone will ever know,
They cannot see and I'll never show.

There's no future with me,
I'm just waiting to die.

You were company in the Nothing,
A face to mirror the pain.
Beautiful connoisseur of lifes bilious rain.
Now I'm alone with reason to try
Except that no parent should have to outlive their child.

Not ever.

There's no future with me,
I'm just waiting to die.

It shouldnt surprise you that all I ever wanted was everything.

You've sure come a long way.. this makes me want to read it over and over again, to search for answers like it is some kind of riddle.. Such finality and yet it lends itself superbly to being "played" on repeat.

You've captured pain so exquisitely in this piece of writing. I love it.

Be well my friend
