Don't shout at me BL, but I need advice.....

I find that taking 5htp during MDMA recovery makes one feel odd at times and something about it doesn't feel all that great. Definitely get a strong vitamin B complex, i remember it helping me loads.

Only take 5-HTP before bed/sleeping. I agree it can make you feel queasy and "odd" if taken in hight dose during the day.

Roller, I'd advise you neck 4 of the Boots Vegtarian Omega 3 as soon as possible, & another 4 12 hours later. This is the most I've done in one day & I wouldn't recomend going over that amount.

Will do! I assume its almost impossible to OD on Omega 3.....

I too, which is handy Lol How ya feeling this morning?

This is the shit you want, they're about £7 (I know, but it's worth it) but Boots do a 3 for the price of 2 & if you're necking 4 twice a day, you'll get through them quicker. So buy THREE :)

i've had a similar experience. I once went through 2,000 mgs of MDMA during a 4 day binge. That fucked me up, for a while. I only got "brain zaps" the first 2 days after it though. I'm curious do you smoke marijuana? Whenever I smoked weed after that binge, i wouldn't get high at all no matter how much i smoked and it trigged brain zaps. It was pretty scary at first but subsided pretty quickly. In fact, i'm pretty sure I made my bluelight account to post a thread about that experience/comedown after it happened. You'll be fine man, just take it easy on the drugs and get plenty of sleep/rest and eat healthy. It sounds like you're doing everything right from here on out so just try to adopt a positive mindset and you'll be better in no time!

I've had some bit similar experience, in my case the "brain zaps" took form of rapid patterns of gaps in the whole sensory reality, happening suddenly and for no apparent reason. It started when I first took a serotoninergic substance (6-APDB, like 50 mg + another 50 redosed after a few hours) again after like a 3 year break (well I was only taking DXM sometimes). It was the first symptom of the substance coming up and also persisted after the trip. It was mostly gone after 2 weeks, through I still have an occasional flashback, usually when high on something else. ;)

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I bought some of the above mentioned omega 3 today, and smashed down 3 about and hour ago! Im thinking of upping the dose, but as the capsules contain vitamin E, I'm not really sure how far to push it (although Si Ingwe is still alive, so it can't be that bad) My daily supp load now stands at this: Lots of Omega 3, B vitamin complex, Noopept (twice daily), magnesium and both l-lysine and 5HTP ocassionally.

Also went to the doctors today, and was told that I'm not only suffering congestion due to hayfeaver, but (I came clean with my drug use) was told that the zaps/dizzyness from moving my eyes could be a left over bi-product of the intense nystagmus I experienced whilst peaking my nuts off. They tested my eyes, and said that everything was fine and that I wasn't experiencing any delayed nystagmus/other eye issues, and the pressure in my ears is probably the result of things starting to right themselves (I think the point being made here was possibly intense nystagmus = inner ear/balance issues?). Whatever the cause, I was told it will begin to settle over the next week or so.

On that rather related note, I'm also happy to report that the frequency of such zaps is starting to get less, and that whilst I still get them, there are periods where its gone completely. Hopefully over the next week, things begin to level out :)

Holy shit! How long were you getting zaps for after that?!? Even after my 500mg night, I feel like I pushed everything too far!

On a closing point, the only thing I can add is that I feel like my memory is slightly shit at the moment. For example, if you asked me what things I did earlier today or yesterday, I have to think hard about it...How normal is memory issues after a night(s) of heavy MDMA use?

Pretty common I think, just another indicator that the brain chemistry is fucked for a bit.

I've scoured the memory banks over the last few months, since my exciting affair with 5-mapb, because I definitely have suffered minor zaps prior to Jan. It's happened three times before, each single minor zaps pre-sleep or post-waking. The first time was after a 300mg MDMA session that lasted about 24 hours & included a fine afternoon & evening in Hyde Park to see Faithless. This session consitutes the single longest session on the highest amount of MDMA I've ever taken. Second time was after meeting a little Czech girl about 6 years ago. We had quite regular fun at my place, her wasted, me wasted & spinning. Sessions were quite close together, a fortnight apart at most & we had at least 6 of them, possibly 10. Brain Zaps appeared soon after we stopped hanging out & I eased up on the pills. Finally, after getting into Meph around the time of the ban in 2010, I suffered a zap session once or twice after particularly long sessions on meph.

None of these Zappy session came close to the intensity & duration of that illness I suffered after using 5-mapb injudiciously.

I assume this fades after a few weeks though? Its strange, as thinking about it purely from an MDMA perspective, I have only done MDMA 6 times, and I remember on my 2nd time, I did about 500mg ish in a night, and whilst I felt awful the next day, I didn't have any of this zapping rubbish. I'm convinced it was day 2 that did me in :(

Furthermore, I'm struggling to understand how I'm no longer getting zaps when sleeping, but am when awake?!? I thought when the night zaps are gone, thats the end of the brain zaps....

Just one of those quirky, idiosyncratic things I guess. We're all unique, exposing ourselves to unique molecalr experiments. There wasn't much precedent for what happened to me at the time, although the spread of the various APBs has inscreased the prevelance of ABzC, or Acute Brain-Zap Crisis, as I have now dubbed the illness.

I'm in a strange space. On one hand, I'm shtting myself, as I hear stories of people doing like g's of MDMA and meph and only having brainzaps for at the very longest, 1 week, and then there is me who is on 7 days since the APB and 8 since the MDMA, and I'm still getting ocassional zaps when I move my eyes left and right. I know that I'm in a MUCH better position that I was a week ago, and I'm sure it will fade over the next week or so and I will go back to normal. But I can't get the fear out of my head that I could possibly have to endure MONTHS of this, perhaps a whole year. The whole thing just seems terrible......

I want to keep reading the posts but I can due to the fact that I have to go back to work.

I just partied for 3-4 days straight and got about 7 hours of sleep the whole weekend.
I described to my friends this exact same feeling
when I try to sleep I feel jolts like if I’m about to break out in seizures, I have a slight case of vertigo and I feel like I’m still rolling almost when I walk around work.

Day 1: Orange pill shaped like a bomb larger than a quarter that I took to myself
Day 2: Tri force, molly and half a transformer (DIDN’T FEEL SHIT)
Day 3:1 and a third Calvin Klein pill

In between alcohol and pot… NO BUENO my friend.

I really hope im not fucked. I’ve never partied for three days straight like that and its my first time doing that many drugs

LESSON LEARNED!

@Crystalene: Holy shit son! Thats more than I did! To be honest, I doubt this is permanent as I already feel a drastic improvement from last week, and it has simply become an annoyance rather than a massive feature of my everyday life. I've been smashing the supplements though, so hopefully by the end of this week, I should be nearly good as new :D

Whats the latest brother? How ya feeling? It's been a couple days since you got hold of the Veg Omega 3, so I'm hoping you've had time to notice an improvement. I'm just taking my daily dose right now :)

Hey mate! The latest is that I'm deffinitely suffering less and the zaps are very intermittent during the day. However, I found that during the evening, the frequency of the zaps becomes slightly more frequent (not sure if thats to to do with dark and serotonin), but I think things are deffo on the mend! I experienced one very small brain-zap last night as I was drifiting off, which was unusal as I haven't had any of those in about 4-5 days, but I just put it down to my brain mending itself. Other than that, I find that during the day, the eye zapping is a bit come-and-go, so I'm sure it will fade soon enough!

This will be my 9th day since taking anything, so I'm confident that I will make a recovery within the month :)

Yeah, good to hear SR, I was flipping through the posts, and noticed that each day your symptoms were improving.
To me it always helped to get out of the house and find something to keep myself and my mind busy, and not think about the side effects, the more you think about it, and dwell on it, the more you will feel.

So usually it's just best to stay busy, stay away from greasy fatty foods, sleep, sleep, and more sleep. Just take time for brain and body to recover from the poisons we decide to give it..:) some people's body have a harder time fighting than others.
You'll be fine in a few days!

UPDATE: Things are deffo on the mend. The zaps are still there, but they are ocasional and only seem to happen if I forefully look out the left hand side of my eye now, rather than before when it was left or right. However, I feel this has turned into "Dr, it hurts if I push here" syndrome. Unless I forcefully move my eyes left in quick succession, I don't feel the zaps. However, because I know its there, I keep doing it every 5 minutes to check 'is it gone yet?'. Im sure by the 2 week mark, everything will of nearly gone, but unfortunately, its become a bit of a habbit :P. I feel completely normal otherwise :)

On a side note, I have noticed that when the zap does occur, whatever im looking at out of the corner of my eye shakes slightly, much like the eye-wiggles you get on MDMA. This is rather cool, but it got me thinking: Nystagmus even after MDMA doesn't seem that uncommon from what I've read.....

Just realised something interesting! I've had about 4/5 beers this evening, and the eye zaps seem to of gone/ reduced MASSIVELY (although they weren't very strong anymore anyway). Does alcohol have some underlying mechanism im not aware of here?

Coincidence. I reckon it's your Omega regime man, that stuff works Goddamned miracles on the Zaps. If I had only been able to operate my laptop whilst struck down, crippled with my ABzC, I might've gotten Omega 3 into my sytem a bit sooner, but it's was only once the worst of the zaps/vertigo/nausea had eased that I began Zaps research & discovered the Omega3 possible cure. Great pity because my gf is predominately vegetarian & she had these Boots jobs just sitting there, right next to the bed I (felt like) was going to die in!

My appetite was destroyed during the ABzC. Sitting up to eat a small amount of homemade, heavenly soup was about all I could face, but once starvation started to set in & I also began to improve when I thought about eating all I wanted was fish & chips, not something I eat alot of normally. It was as if my body was telling me that I needed fish oils, even before I discovered the Omega3 thing & started taking them :)

UPDATE: The zaps have decreased alot, and now only occur ocassionally (more-so) if I look out the left side of my eye. The intensity is also ALOT less, and it now just feels like a slight annoyance. I feel 99% cured, and I'm sure the final 1% will right itself over the next week or so. Being on the verge of normal again is just annoying, but live and learn I guess....
