Opioids Dont know what to do

So, I go down to my pain mgt doctor today to pick up my methadone script and get hit up for a drug screen before they will release the script to me...they started doing this last year, and have discharged ALOT of patients for having clean drug screens lately, as they want to make sure people are taking their scripts and not selling or abusing them...this is a fairly new state law, they are required test 1-6 times per year.

I went ahead and gave them my sample, but I have a feeling it wont show any methadone, and depending on what particular drug test they use, it may show the 1.5 g of heroin I did 2 days ago.

The last time I took any methadone was last thursday, I took the drug test today (tuesday), that is a bit long imo, but a friend told me it still may show up positive for methadone.

Im really kinda scared about this, cuz I have been on this shit for close to 10 years now, and go thru hell during the times when Im out, I cant imagine being discharged and basically never being able to get into another pain mgt clinic again..I cannot afford to feed my opiate habit every day of the month on heroin alone, I dont make enough to afford 1.5-2 grams a day, not even considering tolerance either)!!!

does anyone think methadone would still be in my system enough to test positive after 5 days?

No drug test questions.. you been here long enough to know that.

But when i was on methadone i kicked 120mg/day CT and 10 days later for probation it still showed up.
I know i am answering a question that isn't allowed but i wanna help him ease his mind.
Methadone has a hell of a half life.. i think you're ok, but might be screwed on the dope part.

Yeah, I think the H might screw me, but who knows..I did smoke it, so..?

Im curious how long it took you to kick the methadone? like how many days before you started feeling better? Before I began supplementing with H when I ran out of methadone early every fucking month, I used to go thru complete HELL for about 5-9 days, methadone wd is FUCKING AWFUL, spent most of last night trying to sleep, but could not, and kept dry heave puking here and there, Im glad I didnt eat much yesterday though, nasty headache, smelling like stale cigarettes, nasty stinky w/d sweat, etc.

I think methadone wd is MUCH MUCH worse than heroin wd.
