I am 16 years old, and i live in Los Angeles, CA
i have been expelled from my normal school for possession, and they might not let me back in this year...
i cant work well at my continuation school and i get very little work done
im a regular speed(vyvanse) user and i occcasionlly use benzos and tramadol
i want to run away to somewher where my kind of people live, nice, free, and loving. PLEASE TELL ME! and dont give me any of that "it will get better, your so young!" BULLSHIT. ive heard it all
im willing to help out to pay rent or whatever

so please, help me out, man.

so, you want to get high without hassles, huh?

well, since you have ruled out the only advice that would actually help you, try going south. you could prolly find lots of drugs in one of them south american countries, but then you might get killed.

good luck.

Dude, start lifting weights and stop whining. Life is tough! Deal with problems instead of getting high to pretend things are "peachy keen" Getting education is essential so don't fu** this up. Drop me a note if u wanna write someone.

accept you? you don't even know who you are, and you won't for another 13 years or so.

listen to your elders. a little discipline and knowledge now will make a HUGE difference later. also, running away will most likely compound your problems.

sure it gets harder, but you also get better equipped to handle it. chin up, kid it aint all bad.

Distancing yourself from your family and people who love you is not going to help you one bit. Somewhere down the line you will regret it if you decide to run away from your problems at such a young age. It may be instantaneous and it may be years but running away from your family because they don't accept your choices right now will only end badly, with immense guilt compounding with time.

You haven't explained your situation fully. Are there any other reasons, besides your wanting to be able to do drugs freely and without consequence, for you to be reacting this way? Unless you're being physically beaten, stay. Your chances of success will greatly improve if you stay. Speed should make high school easy, fuck, I was a stoner and high school was easy academically.

Buck the fuck up and deal with your situation, there is no utopia for drug users and if there was LA wouldn't be far from it. You haven't heard it all, you're 16. You are thinking about heading down a path with no decent discernible end just so you can continue using shitty prescription drugs.

I can understand your feeling, and used to think I wanted to just be free and get high all the time. if this is your current attitude toward drug use, you will most likely develop problems.

It is possible for people to incorporate drug use into their lives without having major problems. But this requires a maturity in which you are able to be responsible and take care of your responsibilities.

Can you find a different school that you like better? Different friends that you like more? What's missing from your life? I can guarantee you that excessive drug use is not where peace of mind is found.

sorry kid but life isn't a fairytale. these kinds of places don't exist. you either learn to accept that and man up or you let the world break you. you have to find your own way in this world and learn to take care of yourself because no one is going to do it for you. and your going to have to be more than "willing to help out to pay rent or whatever" if you want to runaway and be out on your own your going to have to be willing to find a job, and be able to hold that job as long as you want to pay for your own rent, food, clothes and everything else you want.

thats the truth, no bullshit. if you don't like where your life is going, its up to you to change it. swallowing pills isn't going to help you pay your own rent, but a high school diploma and a steady job will. sometimes you got to suck it up and do what is good for yourself, not just what you want to do. change is possible but it doesn't come easy.
