What a silly comment from a moderator! (I don't mean to insult/pun/provoke you in any way).

DOB/DOI/DOM/related compounds are/can :
- Only be made by an exierenced organic chemist
- Are More expensive to produce than LSD (lab costs)
- Are very time consuming to produce

It's not "easy to make" at all. Quite to the contrary, DOM and related compounds are harder to find because they are harder to make. A LSD lab would be cheaper to operate and take less time to synth the substances.

Thanks! For the bump I mean. Great report that it seems I missed. As for the comments about mixing fentanyl with the end of a trip, well, I've never had fentanyl specifically, but I love mixing the ends of my trips with kratom. Nothing like it to slowly settle you back to your ordinary state of mind while feeling great to boot, and leaving you in a more communicative state to better allow for integration to begin.
 
I would really like to see some more experiences before trying it, but I am definitely intrigued. I hope to see this compound around sometime as well.

DON definitely seems like it could be a very good member of the DOX crew! Personally I thought DOB was a horrible chemical with way too much of a shitty body load. I wonder why Shulgin has not tasted this chemical. That just seems odd to me. Good report, hopefully I can research this chemical one day.
 
DOB, DOM, DON, etc are much easier to synth and much cheaper than LSD. You are just plain wrong there.

Yep you're wrong. Asstated by MGS it's an easier synth/isolation of final product and the precursors are far easier to obtain. No doubt there'll be a glut of DON in the same way there was a glut of DOC.


As a final point, you'd expect DON to have a more amphetamine like nature as for max receptor (5HT2a) affinity, the group at position 4 should be hydrophobic/non-polar (which an -NO2 group isn't)
 
I think shulgin didn't taste it or *say* he tasted it because if it really corresponds to the description those latin american dudes gave it then it will become a really big popular drug of abuse and he doesnt want his hands dirty with the stigma and eventual deaths that will occour. (As if he could ever wash his hands of pihkal and Tihkal- even if he wanted to)

I mean, its been a dream of mine for meth like hallucinogen to be invented... Something to keep the absolutely poor people on the street addicted and completely impartial to the events of our world. Yeah, I'm sick like that. I'd be addicted too, though.


I'm not saying that Shulgin would want to distance himself from the holy work of persuing fuckedupedness, but I doubt he'd want to be known as the guy who invented "crazy meth" or something
