Australian Greens also want the decriminalisation of “personal drug use”; the bishops comment that “the use of non-therapeutic drugs damages health, life and communities and is an offence against human dignity”. The Australian Greens are also in favour of gay marriage; they want to deny medical practitioners the right of conscientious objection to participating in or being associated with the practice of abortion; and they want to introduce legislation to legalise euthanasia.

I find the article and the comments under it somewhat un-Samaritan, to say the least. Exactly how does supporting something as morally repugnant as prohibition represent true Christian values i.e. peace and goodwill to all men, love, not judging others, kindness, compassion etc.
 
I do agree with their view on euthanasia, and that's about it. Being gay isn't a choice, you are born that way. I have several gay friends and some of my family is gay, they all say that they were born that way, so I don't understand how an ancient book can be the guideline that people use to judge modern day events. Oh well, that's why I dislike religion, all it causes is wars and heartache.

Are they unfamiliar with the side effects of the poison that passes as pharmeceuticals these days? For example, I just learned Flouroquinaline antibiotics can cause cause tendon rupture and nerve damage. How about antidepressants increasing the risk of suicidal tendencies?
 
Fuck i hate the church i really have a special hatred for the catholic church as well i was catholic and came from and grew up in a irish catholic place. They have not progressed one fucking bit and due to their numerous atrocities have lost all credibility.

Noone except the sheep take these cunts seriously :p

There's better reasons to not vote Green that are actually sane anyway, like the fact that they're a bunch of communist eco fascists who wouldn't hesitate to outlaw anything that produces a single puff of gweenhowse gwasses. Nice, happy "SEX AND DRUGS FOR EVERYONE" outward persona aside, I don't think forcing people to erect wind turbines in their back gardens if they want electricity, banning all cars that don't run on rainbows and Lenin's excrement or forcing everybody to turn vegan is anyone's idea of progress unless they get into bed with a tree every night when they get home from their long day of work at the smug factory, owned by the state of course.
