Ive taken a fair share of psychedellics in my day but never have i dropped L or any psychedellic for that matter by my self.(Except for ketamine). Im worried if i do this i wont want to be with anyone when i trip anymore.

I just received some 4-aco-dmt and just moved to a new area where i dont know anyone and thinking of doing a 30mg dose in the pitch black by my self. Has anyone ever tripped by them selves?

I trip by myself often. It's actually very therapeutic and freeing. Funny you mention 4-aco-dmt as I took like 23 migs of it last night and it was AMAZING! Visuals galore, positive, and very uplifting. I laughed quite a bit recalling the events of my recent adventures. 30 migs might be a bit much tho. I only really meant to take 17 migs but I overfilled and said F it.

My most intense and rewarding trips have been the ones I've taken on my own. I find that I can get way more mileage out of less material when there aren't any distractions -- and provided that my intention is to work through personal issues and not just get twatted. :)

I haven't gone as high as 30mg with 4-AcO-DMT, but in general I think 4-substituted tryptamines (including psilocybe mushrooms) in silent darkness can't be beat if you're looking to go deep. If it's gonna be your first time tripping by yourself, I recommend starting with no more than 15-20mg.

Awsome. Im really happy ive herd good things about the solo psychedellic trip. I plan to lay there and listen to an old lettuce set from the 2002 circa and let my mind hit another level of existence.

Ive also herd alot of wonderful things about the 4-aco-dmt chemical. I will take into consideration on the lower dose as this is my first time ingesting. Thanks for the insight:)

I wouldn't do acid alone, I did that on 4 hits and was so frustrated and bored, but most of that was probably the speed I did along with it tbh (terrible idea).

Lower doses are way more fun with a friend imo, but higher doses of psychedelics will usually be ruined by too many sources of input (music, people, etc.). Any dose that takes you out of this world is probably a bad idea to do with someone else.

Having plenty of experience with psychedelia I've never tripped with someone else before. I've tripped around sober people before but never someone who was also tripping. I've always found to to be very enjoyable to trip alone.

ive done psychedelics by myself probably 1/4 the total amount of times ive done them.

its always quite rewarding. im an excellent judge of set/setting/dosage for a solo trip, and havent ever really had a bad experience except for perhaps one or two times (out of maybe 100 or so).

i really like tripping alone. i really like trippin with other ppl.

I love to trip alone........as long as I have a "safe place" and someone I can call just in case. Tripping with girlfriend can be both lovely and a disaster. I have never liked large group trips.....I'm interested in innerspace and collective mind......talking(grunting) while on psych's is too much of an excercise in apehood.

I enjoy tripping alone quite a bit, as do I enjoy tripping with with a small group of friends, or at a festival. Back on topic, yes, tripping alone is enjoyable. Just make sure that you have things to do in case you get bored.

I tend to get introspective when tripping alone, and I personally enjoy that aspect of psychedelics, plus, I don't have to have the possibility of my occasional paranoia I get with others around.

i mostly trip alone. i dont really think of psychedelics as social drugs.. except maybe ecstasy. for me its all about closing my eyes with my head phones on.

I strongly prefer tripping alone to tripping in a group. This is especially true nowadays since most of my psychedelic-using friends are a lot less experienced than I am, so most of the time when I group trip I end up having to tripsit while tripping, which isn't much fun. I don't mind tripsitting for friends, but I'd rather just smoke some bowls, maybe partaking in a little DMT but skipping the long-lasting psychs.

Alone, you never have to worry about other peoples' trips - if you feel like changing the music, you just change the music, if you feel like changing settings you just stand up and start walking, etc. It's great for quiet introspection and all that, too, but even for a less 'heavy' and more recreationally oriented trip, I prefer to go solo. Conversations can be fun sometimes while tripping, but I'd rather have them online or over the phone, so I can start - and more importantly, stop - socializing on a whim. My favorite group tripping experiences are all from back in college when I lived in the on-campus dorms; I would start my trips solo and experience the peak, then meet up with friends (esp. if they were also tripping that day) to smoke some bowls and transition to a group setting. The most memorable instance was a high dose LSD trip; I went outside to smoke a cig, and ran into a good friend of mine who also took a bunch of L that day. We hadn't talked in a few days so neither of us knew the other was tripping that day until we ran into each other, both all saucer eyed and spouting nonsense... We took a walk while smoking and chatting, then I started peaking harder than before and sorta lost track of the conversation while my ego dissolved... Later that night we met up with a bunch of fellow hippies down by the river and smoked some salvia. Good times. </barely relevant tangent>

About 8 out of 10 trips I go it alone.

I get much more accomplished that way.

Without distractions you can give yourself a chance to dig really deep.

I agree with this.
Though I disagree if it's for a first time.
Going alone is something you come to appreciate through practice and experience.

I love tripping by myself, especially on LSD. I agree that you can dig really deep this way. But you can dig really deep with the right people too. They might think of something you never thought of before.
When I trip by myself it makes research fun. And I have an electric guitar and if you close your eyes and play shit it's crazy. I love the Nootropic effects LSD has on my creativity, and not only with music!

I study music theory I'm not just one of those strummers. So music get's crazy for me. Most of the stuff I come up with on guitar while is frying made for frying. So if you listen to it when you're not frying it's still trippy too :).

If you listen to Phish's second album "Junta" you will know what I'm talking about.

I think overall I prefer tripping on my own as I don't have to worry about how anyone elses trip is going and as mentioned you're free to do whatever you want and control the setting without having to think of other people.

However there's been times when I've tripped frequently on my own and I do end up getting a bit lonely/craving social interaction or someone to share the experience with. Though sometimes I've found you don't tend to do much discussing anyway when all you can do is giggle and stare at things in awe :D

Essentially it depends on what I'm trying to get out of the experience and why I decided to trip in the first place :)
