doing cocaine days after MDMA

Hi,

I'm not sure that I'm posting in the right section.

I did MDMA 4 days ago. Today I tried some pure cocaine (lab tested). While others liked it, I felt very little euphoria and happiness. I believe that it has something to do with me doing MDMA not that long ago, and therefore only feeling the cocaines dopamine effects, not the effects on serotonine, since I don't have a lot of it on my brain at the moment (I'm sure that what I'm saying does not make much sense, but you get where I'm going I hope)

Am I right? Is the lack of effects a result of serotonine not yet recovered? And if so, how long should I wait before doing the coke to get full effect?

Thanks

Lol.

Is the lack of effects a result of serotonine not yet recovered?

No, it's probably because you're doing cut to shit cocaine. some people just don't like cocaine. Cocaine does not act as a releasing agent of serotonin anyway - it's a reuptake inhibitor.

You either did not do enough, or cocaine jus doesn't tickle the right receptors in your head.

Move to other drugs

Sorry, I meant clean, not pure. English is not my main language. So you can completely rule out that the mdma has something to dó with it? What is the difference between a releasing agent and reuptake inhibitor?

After 4 days, unless you were on a serious binge, MDMA should not have residual effects.

For the difference between a reuptake inhibitor and releaser, I suggest you consult Mouse Party (basic) or the BL search engine (for more advanced info). Very basically, a releasing agent causes your neurons to actively release more e.g. serotonin when they normally would not, and a reuptake inhibitor stops the cells from 'reabsorbing' e.g. serotonin.

The stimulating and euphoric effects of cocaine actually have to do a lot with norepinephrine and dopamine, rather than serotonin. It's not as simple as "serotonin is the happiness chemical".

Receptor desensitization from MDMA use only a few days ago would probably be playing a bit of a role aswell I'd think.
