Opioids Doing a CWE of codeine tonight, need a little advice

Ok so I have done a CWE twice before, one at about 100mg and one at 150mg of codeine. With the 100mg one I felt a little euphoric but didn't have anti-histamines on stand by so it got very itchy the next morning, about 10 hours later. With the 150 dose I definitely felt something more but nothing that could be described really as a "high". Like you know when you smoke weed, you wait a few minutes and then you just get a feeling that sort of takes over and apart from the other effects, that's how I know I'm high. Well I didn't get an overwhelming feeling like that off of the codeine. To me the codeine seemed more like a "high" you get from tobacco, where you know it's having an effect on you but its not obvious and it's sort of like in the background. Is that the normal codeine high?

So basicly I have 2 bags of 150mg codeine powder (when I was stoned for some stupid reason I decided to open the pills and pre bag them in 150mg doses) and I need advice on if taking both, 300mg, would be too much? Would the high be more intense? Perhaps too intense since my only experience with any type of opiate is taking those 100mg and 150mg doses 3 weeks and 2 weeks ago respectively.

TL;DR:
Done codeine twice before, 100 & 150mg, felt minimal effects. Is codeine just very weak? Would 300 be too much to do tonight for a relatively new user?
 
well codeine IS weak, but i think doubling the dose wouldn't be really safe
you know it could be perfect but it could be too much and we're talking 'bout opiates, not cannabis :D
try 200 and the add 50 + 50 if u feel to do it
but paying attention
 
Can you just take a little more and then some more? I read in a thread that for some reason with codeine if you take a high dose, and then take more, you go in to some form of shock that stops you from breathing. Forget the name of it but it scared the shit out of me ha.
 
Yes, 100mg is pretty weak, I'm not surprised you didn't feel much. My first time with codeine I did 250mg I think but that was too much - felt good but I also spent the whole time in the bathroom throwing up...I say try around maybe 180-190mg and you should be good. But 300 would most definitely make you sick.
 
ow never heard about it and can't explain this scientifically. Basically codeine is a mu-receptor agonist which is then converted by the liver in morphine which is a more potent mu-r agonist.
I think u can redose like every other opiate, but i'm not a medic. But yea i'm pretty sure u can, can't see why...can u link that thread? XD

Thanks for all the advice am going to try 200 like you guys said and see how we go from there, now that I know I won't stop breathing ha. I can't even remember the site I was on reading it sorry, was about a month ago when I spent hours trawling through various forums for the best way to do a CWE and safe doses of codeine. I googled around there though and from what I gathered that is the symptoms of an OD so maybe the poster meant that if I were to take 300 and then another 300 then I would OD and thus stop breathing.
 
Yeah at dosages around 200 or 300mg you're perfectly safe in regards to OD'ing as long as you don't mix it with any other CNS depressants (alcohol, benzos...). The risk is just feeling like shit really. But at 200 you should be good.
