The other night I woke up to my dog snarling. As it turns out he had bit my girlfriend on her nose. I drove her to the hospital and she had to get some stitches. She is making a huge deal out of this and saying that my dog can't come over unless it has a muzzle or in a cage and she won't come over to my place unless the same requirements are met. She is saying the dog is a menace.
The dog is a 30 pound corgi. This incident has left me mystified as it is completely out of character for the dog. I can't help but feel that I'm not getting the whole story as to how the bite occurred.
She is acting like the dog will attack her on sight and begging me to buy into this fantasy.
I agreed to pay the medical bills and she will likely end up with a small scar on her nose. However, she is making it out to be like she will be permanently disfigured and is being incredibly theatrical about the whole situation. I have exams coming up and I can't be away from her for five minutes without telling me what a jerk i am for not doing more.
i am so sick of her needy bullshit. Maybe, I'm being insensitive but i really am just getting fed up with the whole thing. I adore this dog and find his companionship to be much more desirable then hers.
Am i being a total ass if i leave her?
