does your dealer try to get you "hooked"?

i guess hooked is kinda a bad term to use. but i cant really think of anything better. i was already hooked on heroin when my dealer kept pressuring me to start using needles, that is the kinda thing i was referring to.

a dealer pushing you to use a needle... lol.... fuck that. "Don't tell me how to abuse the drugs your selling ME bitch!"

my dealer is a mexican group that barely speak english, but if they dont hear from me for a week the guy will usually call to see where ive been.

my doc of the moment is mdpv, so the "dealer" hasnt got to do anything. his goods are fully capable of achieving that alone ;)

Our last dealer used a certain trick so that we came back. He would often short us one or two, if lets say we got 12, he would give us 11 and he would owe us. Then my SO would always say, S called and he owes us two and he wants to give it back. Of course we would never just get one or two and he would always give us an extra one next time for the trouble, but we would end up getting another 12 or so. He never actually shorted us in the grand scheme of things, he actually always gave us extra ones but that trick worked a lot to keep us coming back when otherwise we probably wouldn't have. After a while I got sick of it and just said fuck it, I'm not gonna go get that two bags from him, let em just have it. And he still owes us two bags. He stopped calling once I got out of rehab. He knew I was trying to get clean and that I am pregnant. He was a dealer, but he had a family and stuff. He actually gave me a receiving blanket as a gift from him wife. Crazy. And he called me to chat when i was in rehab. We talked for like an hour a few times. We gave him rides several times when his car broke down and we hang out with him at the bar. It was some random dealer we met at the west side of Chicago. We got pretty friendly with him toward the end. Wonder how he was doing, he was pretty straight for dealer. If I ever relapse I'd go to him first, but I doubt that will ever happen, it's been so ling since I used.

My main dealer for OC's would text me when he was straight but never tried to advertise or get me hooked. Actually, when he got popped, he had his boy get in touch with me while he was away so that I would be taken care of! What a nice guy!

People with morals have a harder time slingin as they see the people who say they're quitting then call the next day or call back 4 times after they make there initial purchase for the day. It's hard to stay in the business and not deal with these people. so...

A. you become desensitized to this to the point where you ignore this, or eventually use this against people. (personal addictions help facilitater this) or

B. You're the kinda person that doesn't care and thrives creating, and manipulating fiends.

God bless Prohibition.
Dealers. your morals are yours alone, don't be influenced by other dealers and Fiends.
being a criminal does Not mean you need to be a sinner/bad person.

EDIT: Of course the type of substance makes a huge difference, If you are selling crack... You more likely fit into category B. as it's mostly a craving not euphoria.

I've never really had dealers for hard stuff. I mean, Adderall is combined amphetamine salts, which are kind of a hard drug, but I've been prescribed the various amp ADD meds over two years, so I tend to look at the use as hard or soft rather than the drug.

My current dude will let me know when he re-ups sometimes (like today), and ask "do u need any?" but isn't really pushy. He's a pretty legit guy overall and if it's a maybe for a deal that night, he'll actually let you know if he can't come through, unlike a lotta people who just stop answering their phone. I gotta give the guy props.

In high school, a dude I mostly went through my friend to get a hold of (he mostly had weed, but could try to get coke, dope, fake-ass mushrooms, whatever) would sometimes call and leave a voicemail about "I got that 'methazine, you know you want it." but, I think that's the most I've ever dealt with. I've heard from other friends who knew him that some blunts he and a friend's brother would sell would be laced with meth, but I'm not sure how often that would be the case. I think hiding a drug in your cheap blunt instead of offering it would either put you off of his blunts or make you just really wanna buy more blunts instead of inquiring if there was a hidden drug in there you could buy on your own.

hmmm, the thing is that dealers aren't forcing anyone to do their shit. of course they want you to buy more. they're salesmen! they make great commission! people make their own decisions in life. he just wants you to buy his product. people should be more informed. just sayin'.

i would say my dealer encourages me to buy his products in similar ways that mcdonalds encourages me to buy their products. doesnt try to get me hooked, just trys to keep my business.

lacing a blunt with meth wouldnt work too well. if it did you wouldnt even feel the weed.

Yeah, that's why I can't imagine he did it often. Combustion vs. vaporization, no profit on a $10 blunt, etc.

He wasn't a smart guy and I could see him doing it, but I am open to the idea that his sister and my other friends maybe took something he said the wrong way or whatever.

I'd say that if your dealer isn't trying to get you hooked, he isn't doing his job! Dealing is a business, and you've gotta do pretty much whatever you can to promote and expand business.
