I'm basically asking this question for my girlfriend. She would like to know if anyone else gets irritable while on Buspar? She's been taking 20mg a day for around 2 months. During the first couple weeks she liked it and it seemed to help her, but that drastically changed. Did anyone else experience this on Buspar? I've learned to stay away from pretty much any anti-depressent precisely because of this kind of thing in the past. I feel really bad for her because she could benefit from something that will help her with her depression and anxiety. We both agreed, though, that starting a benzodiazepine regimen will only bring another set of problems so she's trying to stick with an anti-depressent that suites her. Thanks alot in advance.
P.S. Does anyone have any suggestions for another anti-depresent which might work for her? I know everyone responds differently but I would love to hear other experiences.
