I'm going there on Monday to get of the DOC that I'm currently addicted to and I was just wondering, if they charge $ for doses?

Mods/Admins etc. this doesn't breach any rules so if you are going to delete my thread, I will have to take disciplinary action :)
 
^ I couldn't tell you sorry. I know a bunch of their services are free, STD checks, the needle exchange etc but I'm not sure about their other programs, Dr consultations etc. Maybe just give them a call? The contact details are over in this thread.
 
Depends what you are going on. If you are going on methadone/buprenorphine, then eventually you will be put on dosing at a pharmacy and have to pay $5 a dose. It's not that much though compared to what you would spend on opioids per day.
 
when your stabalising at the clinic its free but after a week or 2 they will send you to a pharmacy or the MDC. when i was on it i payed $25 a week and its extra if your paying daily. and this was about 2 years ago since i was on any form of maintenance. so expect to pay like $7 per day or $30 a week as i know it has gone up since i was on the program last. bupe and done ARE opiates. but yes they are cheaper, but they suck. you will just become more addicted to these legal opiates and be owned by them pharmacy and clinic, and it will make for a much worse detox when push comes to shove. unless you plan on being on it for life. besides, shit loads of people still use their DOC ontop of their dose anyway, and end up with a fuckien gigantic tollerance.

What is ur DOC if u dont mind me asking? Any rehab program will cost u money, whats free these days? LOL Im planning to go to detox sumtime soon. Needa work on my opiate and benzo addictions. Im doin well with all teh other stuff i used to use but seems these are the harder ones to get off of. Good luck n keep us informed on how things went for u.

lol sorry to say but its hard to find time for other addictions when u got a raging opiate and benzo addiction. detox is free, and public rehabs generally take 85% of your dole check till you get into a halfway house.
