Does taking DXM lower your oxycontin tolerance?

I've heard that taking DXM will significantly lower your tolerance to heroin, if you have built up a tolerance. I have two questions about this though, would taking DXM make the heroin hit you harder if it was your first time taking heroin? Also does this tolerance lowering effect apply to other opiates like Oxycontin?
Also how much DXM does one have to consume to lower there tolerance, I've heard only a few of those little capsules full of tussin is necessary, is this true?

Hell yes it would!It would probably kill you to do both your first time doing H. They are both respiratory suppressers, so this is only something for someone with a big tolerance to heroin. I am certain this also pertains to other opiates, but the risk factor is lessend.
Question two:
Yes from what has been said before on this board all you need is a normal dose of dxm for sickness, not a recreational dose at all.

so to lower my tolerance when taking my oxy/hydrocodone i need to take the recommended dose of tussin right before i pop my oxy/hydro tabs?
