Quick question...

If you stop a 3 year Oxycodone habbit of 50mg a day and you experience withdrawal symptoms, what is the minimal Oxycodone dose that will stop the withdrawal symptoms?

I am just curious to know if 5mg or 10mg Oxycodone can be enough to manage withdrawals?

Okay thanks.

Tapering sounds like it will just prolong the whole thing.

I just want a quicker method so I figured if 5mg is going to be enough to prevent withdrawals I may as well just go with that.

I could be wrong though, I don't have any previous experience in this topic

Yes I think that's a good idea as you have a fairly small habit.. Just take enough to get by and then quit. Good luck and your vary lucky that you've been able to keep your habit so small even after 3 years.. Big ups on the self control

I usually taper. I will drop it 5-10mg a day for a taper that easiest on me. I also take Soma, Klonopin and Valium...more-so when I taper. Tapering from 50mg shouldn't be too hard. Good luck!
