Does scar tissue under your tongue affect suboxone absorption?

Hi Everyone,
I'm new and I had one question that I can not seem to find anywhere online. I hope someone might be able to help me shed some light on this. Does scar tissue under your tongue effect the way suboxone films are absorbed? Meaning do you get less if you have scar tissue, or no effect at all? And if you can cite any resources or credentials thats always helpful if not though let me know what you think. Thanks.

Are the veins underneath completely covered by scars? How did you get the scars? (*imagines you fellating a fiery demon*)

I had got the scars not from a fiery demon lol I guess you could say that because they developed when I went through chemotherapy. The chemo I received had bad side effects for sores and yeast infections in my mouth. The complete bottom front is covered the only veins I can see are to the very far left none on the right, but they are so far to the left if I dose on that side i usually swallow the film before 15mins. Now I'm pretty upset because they don't seem to be working like they use too, and my doctor could care less so I'm looking for a new one. I also have dentures so I take them out when I dose. Should I try something different? I want to get max BA from my films. Thanks for your replies hopefully you can help me better now. Waiting patiently ;)

Did you try asking him for the generic subutex? I remember telling my doctor that the taste of the strips tasted just terrible and made me almost puke every time. Personally I thought they worked better.

Best bet would be to dissolve the films in water and use them either plugged or dripped slowly into the nose. You must keep in mind the different bioavailabilities of the different routes of administration to stay safe, however!

The concept of chemotherapy seems so fucked to me. It causes permanent damage to your body and kills millions of healthy cells guaranteed just to buy a chance at reducing cancer. It doesn't even target cancer, it targets reproducing cells.

Also, couldn't you cheek the subutex ?

Seems like buccal absorption of the film would work fine. I've not used them that way, however, so I have no personal experience.

No I can't get put on subutex. He refuses too, he only prescribes films. I would of died without chemotherapy but thats a different story...how do your prep for both plugging and intranasel? What id the difference between the two BA wise and how does it make you feel? I'm on one 8mg film per day. Thanks everyone for being helpful. Waiting Patiently ;) PS Also I've tried buccual ROA but I take my teeth out when I dose and it will not stay in place. If anyone has dentures how do you dose your suboxone?
