Benzos Does Phenibut have cross-tolerance with Benzo's or help W/d's?

Just wondering if benzo's have a cross tolerance to phenibut. And if one has been on a sorda benzo binge does Phenibut help with that? I got a 100 gram tub of Phenibut a couple weeks ago, I ended up just stopped using it and got some benzo's, something like 50 something klonopin,35 1mg xanax, and 5 2mg xanax...That was a week ago when I got those and I have 21 klonopin left. I plan to take a break, this bottle was suppose to last me a while, but I live in the middle of nowhere and get bored, so I end up taking more than I should than my planned 2-3mg a day. So say I was having some rebound anxiety, would the phenibut help with that? I wouldn't be taking it everyday, shit makes me groggy but maybe a gram every now and then when the rebound anxiety got bad..been through this many times before with the benzo's. On my next up coming visit with my Sub doctor i'm going to ask about being put on benzo's, though I know the doctor is gonna find it strange after a year and a half and no mention of anxiety problems, and if shes not confortable with that then I will mention Gabapentin which works wonders for my anxiety also...but phenibut I had high hopes for and it's the only Gaba drug besides alcohol that is just sitting there untouched...but anyway will low doses of Phenibut help, say 750mg on days I'm having really bad anxiety(its not my favorite but I will take what I can get at the moment.) Thank you.
 
I'm on-the-job opposite situation. I'm tapering down off an 8 month phenibut addiction and planning on using benzos to help with withdrawal lol
I've read conflicting reports. Some say benzos and phenibut are cross tolerant. Some say they're not. I guess I'm ust going to find out myself here soon.
 
Wait...I think I rememember you, I posted a thread about getting Phenibut since it wouldn't show up on drug test and I wouldn't have to take breaks like I do(sometimes after taking normal amounts for half the month or a little more, or taking a bunch, mostly if it was xanax cuz it wears off so quick,have anxiety not panic attacks) Neway I had no probrem putting it away. The first few days I was like "This shit is awesome" then I just felt so foggy headed/sleepy ALL THE TIME, for example I was kinda sleepy but not dead tired and was watching porn, shut my eyes, and next thing you know I wake up and it's been 2 hours!! I took it for two weeks and went back to benzo's...not taking any today, saving what I have and if I need one then I will just take 1. But I thought maybe I had found a miralale with Phenibut "helps with anxiety,improves mood, sleep) all which I have problemns with, and being on a Sub program I can't just take anything all the time. So two weeks of Phenibut and I just quit cuz I was like I'm just making myself addicted to this stuff. Is was actually rather dissapointing considering I've heard people have these AWESOME expericences with it...not me just dizzy and tired. Just gimmie my benzo's or Gabapentin!! Either of those two REALLY do help my anxeity, the Gaba as low as 900mg(usually take 1200-1500) but no more sources really for that unless I can get my Sub doctor to write it, and they are wanting to 'tapering me'. I just say I"m lowering my dose and don't want off, and don't I will go to a Methadone clinic which I'm pretty sure will take care of my anxiety, cuz I NEVER(well very rarely) used benzo's on full-agonist. With Sub I just need a few klonopin or something of that nature then I have no opiate cravings..but just Subs alone, I go back to dealing with all the anxiety bullshit I've had for the past 13 years, but I always just self-medicated myself, especially through the teen years, and well now all my 20's as well.

Edit: The one thing I will say Phenibut is good for for me anyway, is a replacement for alcohol. I noticed after three days of straight use is when the positive effects went away besides making time go by faster. It was just the daily use that didn't seem to agree with me, so this big ass tub of probly 85 grams I am keeping for nights out when everyone expects you to drink, because it does make you social as fuck like the first day or two on it.

No cross tolerance ime but it is a life saver during benzo w/d when it comes to rebound anxiety. You just have to watch how frequently you dose as phenibut w/d's aren't a walk in the park by any means.
 
Yeah I avoided phenibut for the first week or two due to the risks of seizures. After a couple weeks I started using small doses 1-1500mgs before work just to cope with anxiety and stress.
 
Ya, that's why I got it, and thats the exact doses I was taking for two weeks, then I thought it would come in handy for rebound anxiety, then I read about the seizure threashold. I took the phenibut for two weeks then got some klons and xanax & binged on them for a week(boredome and being really stressed about some things now), now I wish I wouldn't have done that and just taken them for anxiety, like I did today. Plan just to not take anything till after my appointent, Ive done this before. Talk to my Sub doctor about getting on klonopin or instead of saying that a long acting benzo, and just say I didn't ever bother asking because I figured the answer would be no. Plus this whole taper thing is stressing me out, only reason I think the doc is doing it is because my insurance is going to stop covering. I dunno... I know once I get off this stuff I might do okay for a little bit but it will not take long for me to start back AT ALL. Opiates were the main thing that helped my anxiety, really just thinking about the Clinic, want pester me to get off, never had problems with anxiety on full agonist, only thing is my shitty job and getting a schedule right without loosing a buncha hours. Subs work okay, but god I came so close to going out and scoring some roxis, just didn't have the money, and I mean fuck the first year I was on it I would relaspe every month. Now getting off subject. There is always plan C, which is an awful one, get all the Subs I can then just IV them and order a buncha benzo's online,lol.
 
Phenibut is a Gaba b agonist where benzos work on gaba a so I can't see why there would be cross tolerance , I would strongly suggest not using either when your bored or it won't help as much when u need it for anxiety
