Does my high caffeine consumption (and tolerance) affect my roll?

Dezz that is so bad! Coffee effects our adrenal glands and is full of carcinogens ur to being treated with so many chemicals!

telling everyone don't do caffeine the week (or at least 3 days) before try roll and watch how much better their time will be.

I actually find that caffeine has improved some of my rolls. Just like some enjoy weed on the tail-end/comedown, I find caffeine brings me back up at the tail-end of the roll. I find the alertness and stimulation adds to the high - even at large doses (3 redbulls).

While you may experience adverse effects from caffeine, I'm not convinced that it could negatively affect a roll for the majority. Apart from, perhaps, some anxiety resulting from overstimulation because the two stimulants may potentiate each other (but I don't know for certain if they do). From my experiences, caffeine & MDMA are quite complimentary but YMMV and all that.

Caffeine is a minor stimulant, but it is not so in the common recreational stimulant kind of way. It releases extremely small amounts of dopamine and blocks adenosine receptors, MDMA stops reuptake of dopamine and serotonin after your brain releases extreme quantities of both.

My only theory is that perhaps the regular, and high, caffeine intake makes you feel accustomed to body & psychological stimulation. So that the MDMA stimulation feels weaker taking something away from the experience. Or perhaps it affects the Norepinephrine release from MDMA which would certainly reduce the high.

Just some thoughts.

Thats what I'm going with. I mean, when I wasn't used to caffeine at all, 2 Red Bulls made me feel like on speed (seriously). That's gotta mean something. Anyway, I reduced my intake dramatically. That's a good thing anyway.

I have a raving friend who refuses to partake in 'illicit' substances and actually uses caffeine as his recreational stimulant for a rave. He smashes like 2 redbulls (200-250mg), a bottle of mountain dew (300-400mg) and a few pro plus pills (50mg) equalling like 750mg caffeine haha. It's funny watching him jitter around for a few hours then crash like a ton of bricks while I'm still loving life on MDMA.

3 relentless' (450mg) has me pretty tweaked but still enjoyable.

Anyways, the story was irrelevant but I'm glad you've decided to reduce caffeine intake. There are many researchers considering including it in the next list of important substances that are abused. Just to throw it into context. While it's mild and not as addictive as numerous other drugs, it is so socially accepted that any negatives aren't even considered by the majority.
