i found some molly that i stashed away a while ago...

it was a white powder, now it appears yellowish and kind of clumpy

still safe? should i dispose of it? was it actually mdma?

MDMA is quite stable if kept in a cool, dark place away from moisture. Any yellowing is as likely to be from impurities oxidizing as from the MDMA oxidizing. So, i'd say, if it was MDMA, it's still MDMA, unless you stored it really stupidly.

i cant say for sure, but i did have some 2c-i do the same thing, white to yellow. i do remember licking my finger to taste the substance and then sealing and stashing again. took about a month. i threw it way :/

mdma is an extremely resilient molecule. a pile of powder sitting on your desk would retain potency for a few years. Stored properly, it would likely keep for centuries.

2C-I is also extremely stable. Most of the 2C's on the market are (regardless of the vendor claims) around 95% pure, and it is likely that the impurities are what turned yellow.

I can tell you it's going to taste a hell of alot more bitter, because it's likely been exposed to heat. If you have a test kit, I'd check out if there's anything else in it, it really shouldn't destabilize like that. You could always use a razor blade to chop it back up if it's cut with something harmless.

thanks for all the feedback. i did have it stored pretty well (freezer), but it ended up in a drawer in a non-air conditioned room

i will give it a go this weekend. it its too nasty, i will prob dump it..

Another thing to think about, if you were dipping in the bad, using the "fingerprint" method, any saliva that got in with it could have caused an unfavorable change...since everyone's ph levels are different depending on varying factors. Just a thought :)
