I've gotten my hands on some methyln and use it about once a week. i have found that 20mg snorted provides a decent high for a couple hours. This is the first drug I have used that works better if it's snorted, orally it will just make me feel like shit.

I have been taking 20mg through the nose every 3 hours or so, in total I have taken 60mg. I am in the middle of the comedown and been having minor chest pains, dysphoria, and obvious vasoconstriction. Since it is similar to cocaine I was wondering if it carries the same risk of spontaneous heart complications as cocaine, or is it slightly safer?

Cocaine is said to be directly toxic to the heart whereas most other stimulants simply work your heart harder. It is quite rare for people to suddenly have a heart attack with methylphenidate or amphetamines without having used them for many years in excess. You aren't using huge doses either so you are probably fine.

There's not much heart risk. Just working the heart harder. The only thing I'm aware of that's directly toxic to the heart is cocaine. Cocaine also calcifies your brain. Speed is better and safer than coke. Cycle your stimulants. Don't take methylphenidate all the time.
