Okay, I have heard a lot of things about acid, and i remember hearing one of the "effects" were it made your brain bleed? If LSD only has mental effects how can it make your brain bleed?

not true , and you will find that 95% of those LSD myths you hear are false as well

Oh yeah, and E puts holes in your head.
Smack hooks you after one dose, weed is harmless...
Sorry, but you have to admit it sounds a bit silly...

It's a bullshit myth greenlighter. And try posting this in the correct forum next time, LSD is a fucking PSYCHEDELIC!

The world can get pretty fucked up sometimes, so why can't I?

Why is E putting holes in yer head a myth?
Many doctors support that it does in fact put tiny holes in yer brain.

of course your brain bleeds...how else would you get oxygen up there?? if yer talkin bout an aneurism or a stroke then thats a different story...either way acid is not physically harmful as far as i know...anyways we all know the health risks associated with drug use and you either learn to take those risks to acheive the desired effect or stay away from drugs period...
------------------
Hell is not where you're going...it's where you are...

and let's not forget about Olney's Lesions...you know...dissociatives...tiny holes in brain...yada yada yada...

okay thanks for letting me know, i like to know all effects of anything before i take it, and last time i checked that was a good thing... and i remember im my health class they told me acid made your brain bleed, i thought it was a little far fetched, but who knows? well i wanted to, so i asked. and for those of you who had smart ass comments excuse me for trying to respect my body before i do drugs. and excuse me if it's in the wrong damn forum. maybe im just not as smart as you. or that's your insinuation. but to everyone who was trying to help

thanks.

never believe a single word your health class, the D.A.R.E. program, or the DEA has to say about drugs...

It doesn't really make sense to expect that people won't reply with a smartass remark when you ask a question like you did. I'm am all for doing your research, but this really isn't the place to do it. By all means, read around, but if you take anything anyone says here as gospel truth you are looking to get yourself hurt.
This is a message board full of people with some great experiences. If you are interested in their experiences, ask, and learn from them. If you are looking for an answer to a question like "Will acid make my brain bleed" you are better off checking out erowid or some other such site. Never base any really important decisions on what you here on this board. Half the posts on here were probably posted when people were fucked up. There are some people here who really know their shit, but I wouldn't bet my life on everything they say.

Well, sorry but I still refuse to believe what someone is telling me when Doctors say the exact opposite. Especially when a site as trustworthy as Erowid also says so.
Documentations have been made of people developing "holes" in their brain as a result to E or some other drug taken in conjunction with it, they were unable to determine whether it was E that caused it alone, the other drug, or both of them as a combination
-part about the disassociatives, well Erowid says the complete opposite, it does cause holes in the brain after prolonged use...

Oppz
1. why the hell should i start a new thread in a different forum just to get a simple answer?
Shit yer complaining about my drivel.. well if ya think real hard youd notice those two things are opposing each other

what is meant by "lesions" in a neurological sense is not necessarily "holes"; when they talk about "vacuolation" (as with MDMA and methamphetamine neurotoxicity) they actually mean fluid-filled pockets inside neurons (these occur normally inside all cells, but would be abnormally large or numerous in a damaged cell). occasionally a lesion may be a large area of damaged, dead tissue, as would occur after trauma or stroke. olney's lesions -- well, olney's lesions (as i've said before) is a term from the 70's.
as if it hasn't been said enough, no, acid does not make your brain bleed. if you were to remove a portion of your skull and drop liquid acid directly onto the surface of your brain, it still wouldn't bleed. acid is chemically quite inert.
it's also tasteless. you should not expect hits to sting (which is another common myth). LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide, from the German, lysergesäure diaethylamid) is not actually even an acid; it's an amide, the condensation product of a (carboxylic) acid with an amine. and if it were an acid, even if it as strong as sulfuric acid, you probably wouldn't be able to taste quantities on the order of 100 micrograms.
LSD is a serotonergic agonist (or antagonist, or mixed agonist/antagonist; they're not entirely sure). it acts the same way ALL other (psychoactive) drugs do; it binds to receptors in the brain because it's similar to a chemical that already exists in the body. no bleeding.
oh, and it doesn't stay in your spinal fluids either. it's eliminated in the urine - like MDMA, like ketamine, like THC, like PCP, like heroin, like coke, like alcohol.

Id still rather just ask in a thread in which someone might be able to answer...
No point in starting a complete new thread with my "drivel."
if a moderator reads this, please accept apologies, im so sorry for making everyone suffer with my simple question
PLEASE FORGIVE ME!
nah nevermind i dont care

Yes, you trip on LSD because it makes your brain hemorage, and flashbacks are because LSD is stored in your spin and when you 'bump' some of the LSD loose you trip again!
