Opioids does lower tolerance mean less withdrawal?

Thanks for the clarification on that, what your saying is pure common sense I think I just had hold of the wrong end of the handle and over-complicated the issue.:-D 90 pounds and banging 3 gram a day? I had no idea how large a tolerence people could get too. I guess im lucky in that im rx'ed opiates for pain but my tolerance has not really risen in over 2 years. I thought that was in part because of my low body weight but other factors must weigh in more (no pun intended.lol).
Yeah my tolerance has been stick at 15-25 mgs of oxy for years. Even after dosing 700 mgs through the week there's no change and I have 0 physical problems.

Ill put it this way ive used opiates off and on since 2006 and recently I've had a friend that can get 15s from this lady (up to 100 every 3 weeks) and I've bought at least 25-50 roxi 15s every 3 weeks from April to date and ill use em all day everyday til there gone and when there gone ill get small doses of oxy sometimes or buy half of a friends norco script (50) and then blow through that and have no problems.

Why Is my tolerance stuck? It's not a bad thing tho. No ones been able to give me a straight answer before

Thats pretty wild mate, fuck knows how your tolerance has stayed so low, maybe a liver enzyme thing? do you have a legit pain issue? I have a maladjusted spine and nerve damage in a few different parts of my body and have been on tramadol, codeine, morphine(made me sick as fuck) and dihydrocodeine, as well as diclofenac and ibuprofen(cant take the nsaids anymore as they destroyed my stomach and caused a large hiatus hernia). Morphine made me really sick so it was a no go and the doctor told me the only way I was getting oxycodone or oxycodone was if I had life threatening condition, otherwise no hope.:-( in the end ive settled for codeine and dihydrocodeine ir. Its far from perfect but they take the edge off the pain so I can operate on a day to day basis but unfortunatly cant work. I know you have to pay full price for your meds in america but you have the advantage of less draconian pain meds guidlines for doctors. So swings and roundabouts I guess.lol

Being a daily IV heroin user is absolutely the most stressful, demanding and destructive lifestyles you could possibly choose, and you get nothing in return for it in the end! And there's nobody to blame but yourself!

I think there's definitely a lot of factors in determining just how shitty the withdrawals are gonna be and most of them have been mentioned already. How much, how long, how often etc etc etc.....

but I think with heroin, you can reach a kind of "terminal velocity" where you're just using so much and your habit is so bad that it just doesn't really seem like you can much more physically addicted to it...I progressed to where I was using obscene amounts and not really even getting high...I mean just shooting as much as I could dissolve, and then sitting there with a mild buzz! At some point it's like your brain gets so saturated
with it, that it almost seems like you practically become immune...It's really weird.

Once you cross a certain line, the withdrawals are gonna just be horrendous! sthere's no way around it except to taper down, but no matter what you taper with you're gonna go through the misery....
All you can really do is just try to manage it, and there's a million different ways to do that.....

I guess what I'm saying is, it varies, but past a certain point, it is what is and it just sucks!!

sorry if this isn't helpful, I con't know if I made a point, but....

Dont know if there was a point, so much as a massive rant at heroin.lol i kinda know what you mean tho, there comes a point where the bad side out weighs the good no matter how much u take. Ive experienced this with benzos and benzo-esque drugs before. Not in the same leagur as H I know but I think the truth is universal.

Well... I guess there's different levels of "fucked".. but is there a supememe pinacle of fucked? Not sure.. I'm pretty sure things could always get worse. Just when you think it's as bad as it can get.. whamo... it gets 10x worse.

^Maybe it just seems that way to me!....It becomes like shovelling shit against the tide! I'm sure an ounce of heroin is worse than a half ounce, but it's like, once you sell your soul to the devil, you're fucked anyway...lol
