Opioids Does legit Oxycontin get more expensive the more mgs in it ?

My current script is for the 20 mgs ones, I'm wondering if I ask my doctor for the 40 mg ones will they be twice as expensive or even more expensive at all ? Dealing with mundipharma Oxycontin.

Yeah, but it's a legit question, as I'm a certified pain patient and am not breaking the law.

But it is still a price discussion. Usually higher dosages IME of medications are cheaper (by weight at least). I'm going to have to close this.
