I was prescribed these for RLS R/T sub WD's, which are over. I noticed a very sore mouth from them. Just this week, I took them 2 days in a row for some insomnia, and it happened again. My gums and tongue. I have read it as a side effect, but pretty low on the frequency range, so I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else. I am actually grateful, cuz the last thing I need is an addiction to these things, I find them pretty powerful.

I was/have been taking klonotril for a Long time now and have never had a sore mouth . They are very strong an you will definitely notice them kick in especially if you have not tolerance. Imo they loose their effectiveness as a sleeper quite quickly your much better of with taking one of the z-drugs

I take alprazolam, not clonazepam, along with sertraline as an antidepressant, and I've experienced increasingly worse gums ever since starting those meds. I spit out blood every time I brush my teeth.

I cannot say what is the cause but I have a strong feeling medication has worsened whatever preexisting gingivitis I've had. It probably doesn't help that I take half my bars sublingually.
