Benzos Does klonopin make anyone else really hungry?

I swear, whenever clonazepam peaks in my bloodstream I go into full nom-nom-nom mode. Does anyone else experience this?
 
It's common with all sorts of sedatives, even non-GABAergic ones like opioids and antihistamines.
 
Lol its called the benzo munchies... i can eat anything and everything in sight. Mostly it just feels REALLY good going down, and is not really a hunger thing
 
Yeah benzos just tend to make people hungry.
I haven't found opiates to make me hungry although they don't suppress my appetite, like stims so I guess they just keep it the same? lol I don't know. I haven't asked others about it though so I am not 100% sure.
GHB and weed also tend to make people hungry.
 
I find the opposite to be honest.

Different strokes for different folks etc...
 
Oh yeah mister....I used to be prescribed 2mg Xanax bars several years ago. Take benzos when I can these days and YES they give everyone Ive known the full blown munchies, even more so than pot. I used to eat my parents out of house and home. Pissed them off to no end.
 
God yes, and not just klonopin, I think all benzo's....large doses of valium/xanax tend to be the worse for munchies for me, worse than pot, add pot and it's over with. Even though I can smoke and smoke on benzo's it's like I can't feel my bud as much?? And go through it waay faster than normal while on benzo's, although a good combo when all you have is Bupe... Bupe+Benzo's+Weed=feelin' good.+ Gabapentin=NODDIN. So wierd.
 
Hahaha yes I remember this. I used to mix kpins or xanax with weed and literally everything I ate tasted like an explosion of flavor. I would just want to sample every kind of food because everything tasted 'new'.

Strangely etizolam does not have this effect on me whatsoever. I get a decrease in hunger if anything.
