So i know ketamine is nmda antagonist and also know that nmda antagonists prevent amphetamine tolerance if you dose the nmda antagonist before taking the ampetamine. So my question is since ketamine is a nmda antagonist does it still reduce amphetamine tolerance when you take ketamine by itself on a completely different day? (Also if you could explain the mech behind this itd be great)

IIRC it only prevents it. I don't think anything can actually reverse tolerance to recreational drugs, but NMDA antagonists do prevent it's development.
