Does Ipomoea tricolor (morning glory) contain LSD?

I read on Wikipedia that this variety of morning glory seeds has effects similar to LSD, and it is more expensive (possibly a deterrent). I had stronger effects from other varieties taken on the same day but that was 500 vs. 50mgs.

No I don't believe it was ever detected in the seeds, but who knows if it is in there in picomolar amounts (present but in extremely tiny quantity).
Probably best to assume there is no LSD in it, just to be clear and keep confusion away.

There are LSA's (various lysergic amides similar to LSD but weaker and a bit different acting) in the seeds. There is a theory that you can make LAH (not lithium aluminum hydride but IIRC lysergic acid/amide hydroxide) out of the seeds using peppermint oil or peppermint tea. The process behind it is discussed in ADD as well as other off-site places and seems to be more complex than previously thought. Apparently LAH is not really what is created after all but rather there is an isomerization happening caused by compounds in the tea.
In any case, the resulting preparation is said to be significantly more LSD-like than morning glory or hawaiian baby woodrose seeds themselves.
