Does Hydrocodone Have a Ceiling Dose?

Okay, so throughout my years of usage, I've never really had a tolerance large enough to experience what I experienced this (single) time.

However, when in the midst of moderate H w/d's I dosed 340mg's of CWE'd Hydrocodone (Norco 10's) over the course of 4 hours and didn't feel a thing. No pupil constriction, no warmth, nothing. It just kept my w/d's at bay.

The following day, I took 120mg's of Oxycodone orally and got moderately high.

I've done hundreds of CWE's in my lifetime so I know how to do it. Upon second extraction I got nothing out of it, so I'm almost positive my dose was in the 300+ mg range. My method included double washing 34 norco 10's through a lab grade filter + funnel, keeping everything chilled to near freezing.

This begs the question - does Hydrocodone have a ceiling effect? You wouldn't think so, but how else could my experience be explained? Does it have to do with saturating the liver, preventing much of the Hydrocodone -> Hydromorphone conversion? I know Hydrocodone by itself is active, so this doesn't entirely explain my experience.

Just a curious question. I've been clean for 6 months now. Just thought this was an interesting experience, as you don't really read about people taking such high doses of Hydrocodone often.
