Does heat have adverse effects on Xanax?

I was cleaning out my car today and I found 7 of the half-milligram Xanax pills in the backseat. I'm almost positive that a guy I know lost them back there about a month ago after a party to which I gave him a ride.
My question: Are they still gonna be good after riding around for four weeks in the broiling end-of-summer-in-the-South heat? I doubt they'll kill me, but I would like to know whether they have been weakened, so I can adjust dosage accordingly.

should be okay AFAIK benzos are fairly stable molecules
try a couple mgs and see...it probably won't even blind ya

Dude these salts are quite stable, unless the shit gets hot enough to turn brown. I don't think I'd up the dose any.

I have to disagree. Benzos do break down fairly rapidly in heat. They should be kept in a cool/dry place.

your talking about an actual perscription drug here, not dr. crackhead's wacky mystery compound. actual drugs tend to be stable...

Actually I just got a script for dr. crackhead's wacky mystery compound, I think Roche makes it.
