does everyone use steroids to look better?

i have heard in the past body builders and athletes taking steroids, and in obvious medical reasons some people have to take them, but its such a common practice now in my hometown and probably all across the UK, people begin taking steroids.

I think its such a widespread thing nowadays, it really has got me curious, though i feel im still too young (21) and i also feel the side effects aint worth it if i was one of the unlucky ones to use them and get all the bad side effects associated with them.

Out of the people who took steroids, do u regret taking them? do you feel they have changed you as a person ? do you feel the side effects were worth the results?

i totally understand why some people take steroids, just sometimes i think way too many people are taking them without even reading how bad they can actually be, or is all the hype just the same as say the media's view on most drugs?
 
I use them to get stronger. Stronger person is a healthier person (all things equal).

they are also incredibly satisfying drug to use...the returns if you put the effort into it from a cycle are mindblowing, especially ifyou've been training for a few years and are used to your natural gains.

You really must have diet in check to an incredibly fine degree though. If you slip up with your diet during your cycle (I mean here eating too little) then your gains will be shit. You can't make muscle from nothing no matter how much AAS is pumping through your body.

Just wait a few years when you start seeing the negative effects of longterm use by the under educated, Gyno is dirty. It sounds like you & the people you speak of would be much better off becoming dependent on creatine & destroying your body's natural production by mega doses daily.
 
i tried creatine, an 8 week course, found it pretty good, but i stopped, a bit nervous about what it would do, just try hit high protein mark and put the effort in, i mean , i enjoy working out, the buzz after a heavy work out is great
 
fish oil and creatine I consider fairly essential. Creatine is perfectly safe bro. No need to worry about it. The worst side effect you'll get is possibly some stomach issues (gurgling or whatever). but, thats the minority.

I don't fully agree with the notion you need xxx ammount of protein a day to grow, I understand eating the recomended ammount will produce optimum gains, however if you look at the size of a cow or bull and look at what they eat (grass) then surely humans can do the same.

What Im saying is AAS without the perfect diet will yield good gains, however with diet in check gains will be superior

no matter how much steroids are pumping through your veins you still won't grow unless you don't eat. Thats just common sense bro. We're not cows munching on grass all day. We're primates that need protein to synthesize muscle fiber. Lots of protein ime.

Shoot a tenth of a gram of test prop into your asscheeks every morning and not eat like you should, and you will stay the size you are.
