Does edible cannabis compare to mushroom/lsd trip at all?

Yes but it depends if cannabis is a psychedelic for you as it is for lots of people, and it's more akin to a low dose of mushrooms where you do not see visuals.

If you smoke herb while tripping on LSD or mushrooms, using cannabis orally in food in a high dose, via a vaporizer, or just smoking a lot of a high THC strain of cannabis or hash will be psychedelic for you.
