Does Ecstasy and LSD produce cross tolerance with one another?

Hi,

Last night I did 3 tabs of acid. Just wondering if I try Ecstasy (apparently might be MDA based) tonight if it'll have diminished effects, and if so, if it'll be considerable.

Thanks :)

Theres no cross-tolerance that im aware of between LSD and MDMA or MDA and LSD. They are structually quite different and although both cause a large portion of their effects through action on the serotonin receptors, the way they do this is distinctly different ways. tolerance to LSD ime doesnt really happen to that large a degree even with fairly frequent use.

Really?? I find tolerance to LSD to build extremely fast and reverse extremely fast. Like if I use 2 or 3 days in a row there is a substantial diminishment of effects, but if I then waited a week tolerance would be reset to zero.

Hmmm...thats interesting ive never found that myself but tbh Ive never found LSD interesting enough to want to do it too often. I think the most ive ever had it was a couple of times a week over a couple of months. I did however notice slight tolerance increase with magic mushrooms and this carried over to the LSD.
I also never found LSD to be all that visual either, mainly it would just put my head in a very strange place.lol mushrooms however were a different thing altogether....
