OK so no one knows answer to my question about the alcohol that's stupidly put in DXM products in my country, but can anyone tell me does DXM even work for methylphenidate tolerance in the first place? For some reason I can find s** all about substances that reduce methylphenidate tolerance, on ADD websites and drug websites alike, no one seems to report ANY experience of what happened when they tried magnesium or DXM for it, they're just complaining about it and never mentioning again whether they actually tried it and whether it helped. Amphetamine tolerance gets all the attention, I don't understand it.
I've found just two people talk about it at all, one saying their doctor finds that DXM only helps his amphetamine patients and not MPH patients, another saying it didn't work for MPH when they tried it. This is not good. I've got just 2 weeks before I have to go back to work, I need to know ASAP if I should take the DXM I've bought to make the tolerance go away or whether it'll do absolutely nothing to reduce it and actually make it worse because it's dopaminergic and contains alcohol (WTF is wrong with these manufacturers) which is also dopaminergic.
Sorry for irritable tone, I'm seriously p***** off with everything right now
The DXM at just 15mg had a nice sedating effect, now I'm high strung and full of OCD again, I really want to take it at least to keep myself calm but I'm scared it'll make the tolerance worse instead of better and no medication will work for me ever again and I'll lose my job, fall out with family, move out, become homeless and kill myself
