Alcohol Does drinking bud light make you a homosexual? A thread

It did me once. Took me 48 hrs to get over it. I still get an ache ever now and then when I get a glimpse of Ana de Armas😻😻

...I'm a Miller guy...
In high school (mid 1970s, Chattanooga), when we said "beer" we meant Miller.
In college (late 1970s--early 1980s, Knoxville), it abruptly changed. "Beer" meant Budweiser.
Light beer appeared in my senior year at UT, but only diet-obsessed women and middle-aged fat guys drank it.
When Coors came out with Coors Light I was baffled. The original already tasted watery. How could it get any "lighter"??

My father exclusively drank Bud heavy by the case so growing up that was "beer" to me. That shit gives me a hangover though, much worse than say miller or even Michelob ultra. Fuck it I'll enjoy a lite beer I ain't scarred what the ipa obsessed purists think. Some of those IPAs are straight swill, but the good ones can be really good.

Miller lite is my go to. Labatt BlueLight is my favorite light beer.
IPAs are tasty. And it's easier to get drunk on IPAs. which is the goal when you play the game of drink.
Then there's Yuengling Lager. America's oldest brewery, and Pennsylvania pride.
By pride, we like it. Not necessarily waving a flag over it.

I used to like ringing. My favorite local beer is Flying Dog out of Frederick, MD, literally 20mins from where I live. Raging Bitch is the shit. They're double dogg is like 12 percent or something. Talk about something that'll floor your ass if you're not careful

I've seen flying dog beers around. I don't think I've ever tried one.
Our best craft brewery is Troeg's out of Hershey. I'm grabbing a case of nugget nectar seasonal IPA next trip I make to clifford. It's past season, and there's still stock of it. @deficiT

I like the act of drinking. It passes the time and gives me something to do. So that's why I drink 'watered' down variety.

That's the delicious irony here, the performative spectacle these people love so much involving them rejecting a brand name for hurting their fee-fees and their delicate sensibilities

For one, these brands that conservatives hate like Nike, Hersheys, Bud Light etc, they all market research this shit to the nth degree, as others online have already said. It's not like some trannies abducted the CEO of Anhauser Busch and brainwashed them "Clockwork Orange"-style to promote LGBT shit. No, they just noticed a new group of people they could sell their shit to and are pandering to them, THAT'S IT.

Whats more, they no doubt accounted for the fact that they will lose some customers due to weighing in on a "controversial issue", but here's the thing: can boycotts even work in the kind of lobotomized, hyperpolarized America we live in? If some people discover that the people the people they can't stand are boycotting a brand for some stupid reason, they'll just go out and dump their money into that entity all the more! It'll become a political statement to CONSUME that commodity, rather than reject it! That's why I'm skeptical of boycotts even working in this day and age, despite the fact that a message to boycott can spread faster than ever before, and something I find very ironic regarding "cancel culture"

I'm still trying to finish the single bottle of La Choufee' blonde I opened 3 hours ago. 10% alcohol. So the 4 pack of Guinness will sit on my desk, untouched.

I like the Ralph Steadman art on the bottles. And raging bitch is a super good Belgian - IPA hybrid.

If it hasn't been fridged' the whole time
it won't be worth its weight

These guys(and Jack Daniel's) are doing this because they know it will upset their customer base and tank the stock.

The people behind this have friends who have short options on the stocks so when the stock goes down, they make money.

When you know a stock will drop, like, you know the day/week, you can make a loooooot of money.

That's my theory anyway.

I've always wanted to go to the brewery but sadly haven't.
