Truly - pour from bottle to glass and it takes on a foamy head. Carbon dioxide is actually more soluble in ethanol than it is in water. Doesn't stay foamy for long, but apparently yes, it's legally classed as a lager because they use refrigeration rather than distillation to increase the alcohol content.
