does dph potentiate DXM?

ok. so i was looking around on the web and saw that dph potentiates dxm. i was just curious. is this true? i wanted to try it but not without a first hand account on how it goes or some good info on it

Yea it does, Ive heard that 300mg + 300mg is great for a trip with intense visuals but still enjoyable.

Its does, but a dph/dxm combo trip can be far from enjoyable. It is less crappy feeling then a trip on DPH alone, though, but not exactly what I'd call enjoyable.

When I tried it I dosed 350mg of dxm and 350mg of DPH, it completely ruined the dxm euphoria, and the whole trip I just was trying to use my computer that was on sleep mode, kept hallucinating using it, it doing crazy things, then me snapping out of it and being too trashed to do anything but stare at it when I wasn't hallucinating. This kept happening over and over, and that was basically my whole trip. I basically was just waiting for it to be over because thats all I could do.

Low doses of dph such as 50mg are often used to stop the robo-itch many get.
As the above posters have said a combo (usually about 300mg/300mg) can be used to cause a 'better' version of a dph trip. Wouldn't recommend it without doing a lot of research first.

The enzyme Cytochrome P450 2D6 is heavily involved in the metabolism of both making DPH a competitive inhibitor
and yes a potentiator.

However the load for the body may be higher and also importantly the deleriant effects of DPH can combine with the DXM effects to become confusing or possibly dangerous.

I would never combine these drugs, then again I don't like these drugs to begin with.

more than 75mgs with any amount of dxm has been unpleasant always for me
but 50mgs add to the euforia and disconected from the body feelings and isn't so much to add the dph side efects and helps with dxm's side effects

I have enjoyed combining dxm+dph quite a few times. The only drawback I ever faced is that when I took more dph, and i was feeling the dxm, my heart would start beating very fast, without warning. That only happened when they were both combined. That would only last for a minute or less. I personally preferred dxm+dimenhydrinate. I would pop the dimen toward the last phases of a peak. Its not for everyone, probably not that many ppl actually, so the best info youre ever going to get is self-exploration, should you decide to.

If mixed in an equal amount (say 300/300), I find it to be more of a slightly altered DPH trip. But if you use say 150/300, it ends up being a mainly DXM trip with a considerably larger amount of OEV's. Safe? No idea, but this is what I have experienced.
