Does degraded LSD give you a qualitatively different trip?

This is something that had me thinking for a while... (even though the question may sound stupid intuitively).
I had some hits that I believed were poorely stored for some weeks.

If you are in possession of hits that lost a certain amount of potency, do you merely have to take more of them to achieve the same effects?
Like, if your hits lost 20% of their power, will you have the exact same trip as usual if you compensate by taking 20% more?
Or is there a mere loss of quantity, not of quality of the acid?

I gather this is kinda similar, but not exactly the same question as "is there such a thing as bad LSD?".

I personally am of the belief (I'm pretty sure) that when it degrades, it does not become different, just less potent. Yes, although it does degrade into iso-LSD to name one degradation product, these compounds are inactive (plus it would be such a small amount).

So yes, I believe you would achieve the same effects if you compensated for dosage.

It does relate back to "LSD is LSD is LSD" kind of. Unless you were asking if the degradation products were active.

Yeah, none of the degradation products are within a few orders of magnitude of LSD w/regards to biological activity.

LSD is also not likely to degrade unless you store it stupidly - how was it stored?

Well, it was stored for a month at room temperature (but away from light and moisture).
I am now able to refrigerate it, but the main problem may lay in the fact that it was submitted to temperature changes (some hits were taken in and out of the fridge twice). I read that temperature changes is bad for LSD... (But I also read that you're supposed to let the container return to room temperature before opening it to avoid condensation, so there is a contradiction here)

Anyway, I'm not certain those hits are degraded. My last trip did feel weaker than the previous one, but I tripped during the day and for some reason day trips tend to be less profound than night trips. I'll have to taste them again.
