Does Basifying your stomach alter benzo absorption?

I am about to take some amp and know that baking soda helps your body absorb more of it. My question is, will the basic soln hinder or (of affect at all) the absorption of benzos?

I don't think that stomach acidity matters too much with benzos, since they have such a high oral BA anyway. If you're worried about it, just take it sublingually (hold it under tongue or in cheek)
