I'm looking to get clean off benzo's. I would like to stay on my pain pills(oxycodone) and get off benzo's. I can control getting off opiates if I wanted to but I would like to stay on opiates while getting off benzo's. I have really good insurance. Does anyone here know of any rehab centers that do this? if so please PM me info or respond here with info. Thanks!!

Hey austing. Here is some strong information on benzos including some great taper plans. Im not sure you will find a rehab like that.

Are you taking pain pills for legitimate pain problems, or are you taking it illicitly?
By "legitimate" I don't mean real pain or not - I mean prescribed by a Dr. and taking it as prescribed. Even if the pain is real, if not prescribed by a Dr. and taken correctly then there is virtually zero chance of finding a rehab to accommodate you on this. However, if you are taking them as prescribed for legit reasons then I wouldn't give up. I don't know about for chronic pain but I know there was a couple people at my last rehab who were on pain killers for acute pain/injuries. (a few weeks after being injured i mean, not injured AT rehab. But still, they were not made to get off of them.)

yes I take them for legitimate reasons and as prescribed per doc. I got off benzo's once an the wd's were the worst 3-4 weeks i ever had. They had me on a quick 2 week librium taper. But I would like to stay on my perc 10/325's but I want to get off benzo's. I feel as if I need to I can get off opiates which I've done many times just do the 3-5day wd and keep movie but it helps me with legit pain so I'm looking for a place I can get off benzo's but stay on pain meds. thanks for all the reply's guys.
