Does anyone else not know how to eat healthy ?

...healthy eating can be as simple as switching from prepared food (fast food) to natural ingredients. it forces you to learn to cook a few meals. rice, pasta, oats are all really easy to prepare. stir frys are easy and tasty. bean burritos are really easy and healthy too...

Exactly. Even if you like burgers, pizza, "junk food" etc you can make all of these 10x healthier by starting from the basic raw ingredients and cooking them for yourself from scratch. The key is to get good fresh ingredients to start with and as much variety as possible.

Avoid pre-made meals or anything too convenient (other than things like bread and pasta which can be a chore to make from scratch if you're not used to it). Take some time to learn how to cook; it's fun and rewarding. If you hate salads then maybe look at steamed or baked veges with your meals?

so, if u consider all this health food good for u, compare the nearly 50 pesticides are way more destructive than eating fast food.
even organic can happen to have traces of pesticides but the point is, they try to limit them

Dude these days it's pretty damn hard to avoid a lot of the crap that gets put into things, but at the end of the day, you're better off having an apple as a snack rather than a bag of potato chips.

^um yeah. i just responded to another thread this guy was in, pretty sure hes a troll...or just really fucked up.

Rest assured we can see your reported posts. Please refrain from calling people fucked up if they may just be different from you.

To address the OP though, many pesticides bioaccumulate, meaning organisms that consume pesticide-laden plants maintain them in their bodies, and the organisms that eat those organisms are still ingesting the pesticides, plus whatever antibiotics or chemicals are added to the animal.

Pesticides don't just disappear when animals eat them. Furthermore, animal feed is pumped with chemicals to make them get larger, as taste is not really a priority.

Fastfood grain/vegetables/meat often contains the pesticides as well as the artificial stuff as well.

i totally understand this, especially eating at most college campuses. its not impossible to find healthy prepared food options. independant sandwich shops are a good option, they also usually have soups available, though it can be more expensive than a few things off the dollar menu :). one thing to do is buy a shitload of apples and bananas (or whatever fruit you like) and carry them around with you. even a double cheeseburger (or whatever) and an apple is better than a double cheeseburge and fries. start slow and work your way up, you will certainly notice a change, especially in your daily energy levels. there are lots of good tips in this thread.
