Does anyone else get this feeling?

I've been taking ecstasy/mdma for about 2 years now, and often get nauseous and gag involuntarily on the come up. It's something I've learned to live with and took steps against (ginger etc.) but I often find that the feeling subsides and that I rarely actually vomit - just gag and dry heave for a bit before I level out.

The real problem for me comes after about 4/5 hours, usually when I'm leaving to go to an afterparty or back to mine. I become violently sick and can't stop shaking. My vision becomes blurry and I'm left feeling horribly wrung out and have to go to sleep (which comes mercifully easy). After 6 hours sleep, I get up feeling relatively fine (but having missed some good times).

It's led to me being extremely cautious to avoid it, but I feel a bit wrung out no matter how much I've had. When it hits me bad like that it's usually after having more 2 or more pills, but I rarely exceed 3. I take them in halves, and I get the problem with mdma as well.

Everyone around me seems to get on fine, having had the same amount or maybe more. does anyone else get this and can anyone offer any advice?

so the more you take the worse you feel...hmmm..ya don't say :\....J/k 3 pills is really not that much to be causing stomach issues like that but everyone is different. how is you water intake durring your roll? are you eating anything before hand? Try a light meal about and hour or 2 before rolling and stay hydrated durring and see if that helps.

Other than that...you could try and take the stomach out of the equation and plug your MDMA once to see if it is a stomach issue or not.

I do keep hydrated and try to eat right, but if I end up vomiting anyway it's a moot point really. I suppose I just don't have much of a tolerance for it.

Good advice though, I'm going to try bypassing the digestive system entirely next time. It's just a shame that it's not a quick and efficient method in a club environment.

I get mad stomach issues, too. In fact, my whole come up is me trying not to throw up or feel nauseated, and once the roll kicks I'm fine. Ginger, tums, weed, you know the drill. As for the blurred vision, shaking, wrung out feeling, and vomiting, I find that MDxx usually takes somewhat of a toll on your body, not the drug itself but what you do on the drug. When I come down my joints hurt, my back hurts, my vision is blurry, my mind is foggy and shot, I'm fatigued and my stomach is still upset. I think what it is is your body catching up to you. I've always told myself that I felt that way because I had put so much strain on my body but I just didn't realize it because I was rolling and couldn't feel anything or wasn't thinking about it or I had so much artificial amph energy going through my body that I did things I wouldn't normally do. It could be the smallest thing like sitting a certain way or walking a certain way or leaning a certain way for a long time. Your stomach was probably upset the whole time but because you were high you couldn't feel it, you just got those dry gags, but once you feel it then you're thinking about it which makes it worse. As for the blurred vision, ive convinced myself that that's from a lack of electrolytes an just from being straight tired.

Idk if that's what you're talking about, that's what I feel.

I'm convinced that the problem is at least partly psychosomatic - I'll go from leaving a club and being bang up for spending more hours chilling at an afterparty to throwing up and having to leave within half an hour of arriving. I've gained a reputation for showing up at afterpartys and fucking off home almost immediately because I don't feel well. I think that, once I leave the club environment into more well-lit surroundings with fewer distractions, the night catches up with me. I've really tried to keep it at bay but it just seems hopeless at the time.

Ah, I kind of know what you mean. As long as the environment is conducive you can keep that roll going, but as soon as you get anywhere slightly sober your mind returns to you, as does your body catch up to you. That's why after events I don't like going to after party's, i prefer to just crack out with some weed and maybe some whip-it canisters with a few close friends and try and come down softly and comfortably. Do you like to smoke weed on the comedown? That works wonders for the upset stomach And also helps to soothe the anxious mind.

I used to have this problem. Look up pluging you will thank me later. This forum is great for learning about things you just cannot ask your doctor! My spouse and I always plug now because of stomach problems. Just was not cool getting sexy and having to vomit.
