Does Anyone Else Feel Like This About Rolling at Raves?

I try to avoid crowded, indoor raves. Some ARE extremely hot. If there's no place you can go to get good ventilation without leaving the venue, I'd find somewhere else to roll. It makes no sense to take your chances overheating at a rave.
 
The raves I've been two usually have two dancefloors one inside and one outside, and there's different dj at both dance floors. I don't know if they do it like that where your from, but I usually go dance on the outdoor dancefloor when I get too hot or want a smoke :)

I feel the good ones DO have a well-ventilated or outdoor area. It's best to make sure people have the ability to cool off if they feel they're overheating. I've seen too much "forcing" people to stay inside an unventilated venue at these newer raves. Not a good plan when you have tons of people on a drug that increases body temperature =P
 
I think its all about the venue. I saw Tiesto at the Roseland in PDX and it was like a goddamn sauna in there the whole time, so hot that people were buying waters literally to just spray them in the air and try to cool the place down. I really prefer outdoor venues for raves or EDM concerts in generally even if it means sacrificing a bit of sound quality. For indoor raves, I just make sure to dress lightly, and dont be afraid to shed some clothing, everyone is rolling, no one will mind :)
 
I actually find that though MDMA is social (like you should do it at a packed rave), it's really best if you have a lot of space to sit, relax, and hydrate....as well as pee immediately if you need to. My best experiences have been at events that had small amounts of people.
 
i take back what i said, i think i took 2 pipe + mdma combo pills cause i couldn't sleep at all that night, and had the worst drain EVER the day after. i went to a rave yesterday and consumed 4 medium dose confirmded mdma only pills, and had the time of my life, the heat didn't bother me nearly as much as the previous event i attended... so i guess the moral of the story is... test your pills before you take them so you know your not taking a nasty pipe pill that severly fucks up your body heat regulation
 
Feeling precipitation from the moisture in an indoor stage....insane.

Outdoor stages are more comfortable, though you are more prone to run around in a thin t-shirt in freezing weather as the rave ends.
