Does anybody test at events or festivals?

Okay so everybody vehemently advises against buying at raves/events/festivals but why don't you just test at the event? Assuming that there is no official testing facility at the event that you are at....Is it advisable just to test with a kit at the event?

Does anybody do this and if not why not?

Thanks.

We don't bring the kit with us in case the security is super strict. (They usually aren't, but then again, we usually have our supplies well in advance.) If they find the bottle, they'll def make you toss it out, or at least give you some trouble, I would think. If you're willing to sneak that baby in, I'd say go for it. Do it on some aluminum foil in a bathroom or porta-potty or something.

Testing always > not testing. It's just a lot more trouble at an event - finding the guy again (assuming you only buy one to test), etc etc.

The problem here might be getting the test kit into the event. IF you get searched and a kit is found I'm not sure what the consequences might be, but I'm assuming most venues wouldn't let you take one in if they knew of its existence. So that's one thing. Another thing might be the testing itself. As most sales at events are probably as clandestine as possible, I doubt someone will let you test before you buy. So you'd probably have to buy first and them test. Finding a comfortable testing place might also be a problem. Bathroom seems like the only spot. And if the test kit tell you its bunk, I doubt you will get your money back. I guess you could make it work, but with buying in clubs if you buy bunk pills you'll pretty much have to cut your losses. It is much safer that just eating the pills so if you are someone that would buy pills at an event, it might be worth it to bring a test kit in. It all depends on the situation. It's best to buy from a trusted source before an event but if that's not possible then somehow finding a way to test at event might be second best I guess as far as safety goes.

Yeah well that's the thing, if the person in question has no other means, just in terms of safety and in the interests of not ending up in the fetal position on the floor; I think it is safe to say that at least knowing before hand and simply cutting your losses if it is bunk would be a better option.

Hey,

Yea i had this problem a little while ago but i managed to sneak it in by putting it in the middle of a spare pair of thick socks. Another method i use is to get some of them tester aftershave little bottles they usually hand out at perfume shops rarely, made of glass, thin and easy to conceal, just wash it out and leave it to dry, put a couple drops in each 1 and then drop a tiny bit of pill/md into the bottle and shake. if you haven't got a little glass bottle i usually get my mates to sit down in a circle and il use a plastic spoon or bottom of a glass to test, just make sure you put the test liquid on 1st and then the pill/md otherwise the spoon or glass may react with it. Also don't leave it on there for too long as im pretty sure itl melt the spoon after a little while.

Hope this helped

^^ Wow the perfume bottle idea is brilliant!! Thanks man I believe that's the ticket!!

Which is the best test if you can only bring one? I am so used
to having my palate of tests- it's hard to pick only one.

While the reagents themselves are not illegal, bringing a very corrosive chemical into a festival will probably not fly with security. More often than not, at most good festivals, the police are paid not to interfere, and the security knows what's up anyway. The secret to very successful festivals is allowing drug use. Drugs = more people. More people = more money. More money = paid off cops.

WHy not just bring the dealer to your tent, sit him down and test in front of him. If its shit give him the money for one pill and tell him his produyct sucks, if it's good buy them all and make friends.

Always worked fo me.

Yeah no tents, but your post begs another question if I may:

Is it acceptable to ask if you can buy one, test and then if it is good, load up? No hard feelings if it is crap!! Or do you think the guy will get pissed off about the insinuation?
Could even be a good way to figure it out prior. If they are not willing to do a Pepsi challenge (if they head for the hills the second you ask) prolly wasn't worth it to start with.

^ That's what we usually do. We make it clear that we want to buy one, and if it's good, we'll get more. Although, most of the dealers we've come across don't even know what a test kit is. The ones that say "sure" usually kinda have a weird look on their faces.

imo, they shouldn't care whether you're buying 1 or 20. They're making money either way :/

no test = no thanks.
