It was today stepping into tomorrow

while Megan was snoring in the bedroom
in the morning then till noon

All this time to myself sofa-sitting
the mischievous kitty
is quick to be pissing me off a good lot
so I raised my voice
jus’ a notch
to yell at her

Her name is Loki
okey dokey we know she’s lovely
I wish she was more articulate
though I adore her shenanigans
I can’t imagine mannequins
ever kickin it with us kin folkies
we’d have to beat them up
anyway I done balls-out asked Loki

“Bitch will you teach the hokey-pokey?”
I was given no valid response
so I moved on
I was hopin I could wiggle
my lil good ass around
‘n somehow start a fruitful routine
like makin money again
aaand…shake it all about?
n resurrect my kindergarten talent for makin “plop” sounds?

My body and mind are immune to embarrassment
but with everyone so robotic I have to expound
