I am prescribed ambien 10mg at night to help me fall asleep. I've been taking it for about 3 months ALMOST every night but I take a 1 week break each month to avoid complete dependence. Last night I took 2 bars of xanax to help the comedown from my adderall last night and it felt only half as effective. Before I started the ambien, 1 bar would completely kill the comedown. 2 bars would have me wasted and KO'd shortly after I took them. What's up with that? I also take adderall and lexapro 20mgs daily but I doubt that is what's causing it.
The only other thing I can think that might have caused the drastic raise in tolerance would be a slight klonopin binge I had 2 weeks ago where I took 20mgs kpin spread out over a week. Also, ambien doesn't even work anymore unless I take 30mgs. Do you think its the ambien or the kpin or maybe something else entirely?
